nacera, I don't care what anyone posts. This is not a thread. Threads can be found in the other forums. This is a Group. A group is something more than just a bunch of people posting. This Group has a purpose. Our purpose is to see who is good at keeping a commitment. So post anything you want to post, just post at least once a month. I have a game that we can play with the purpose. Watch for my next post.

Hey Artie I would suggest sthg else why not a list of cultural names with explanation like:

Gondola= an Italian small long shaped boat seen in Venice

There are a lot people of the world here so imagine that they give us names we ignore plus their meaning!

OK. we need some simple way to tally those who have kept the commitment. Here's what I suggest: I'll make a list with my name on it. If you have kept the commitment for April and May, just quote this post and add your name to the list. Then post it. We can edit the list every month.

Hi, This is my first post. I am one of those people who have always had other languages on the outskirts of my life but never really committed to them...I am trying to change that. I grew up listening to my grandparents speak Italian. I have done a lot of work with Spanish but still need a ton of practice. And have recently started playing around with Portuguese. so.....
I will make at least one post in May, June, July etc.
