i listed the characters from the classical version to the modern ones we use nowdays, the pictures show how the words changed gradually, hope they help

Thats a shame maybe then you could help me in finding any spells in chinese that symbolises strength luck vitality etc and post them for me ive had a look myself and have come p with nothin.

I've always been very proud of the characters we have lol and you guessed it right, read from left to right up to down. and tell you what, the ancient type seems to me is real art which is no other written language could ever be equal to.
I dont mean to offend anyone though :P

Im very gratefull for the help you`ve given me so far, i was just wondering that it reads from left to right as i thought that it is suppose to read downwards but it still looks great as it is. As far as the spells goes i was after something really unsuall and very different, im not really to bothered if its old or new really. thatnks again and lookin forward to speaking to you soon.

and for the ancient spells, im not quite sure if you were talking about the classical Chinese or not, if so, it would take a while to find the characters, if not, im still willing to help if you would like to further explain it

what you mentioned is a saying of english, and im afraid there's no chinese version talking about the exact same content. but the genenal translation could be:

I had always loved to learn Chinese and now I hope to learn it better here, I am currently studying Russian at the university but I would have happily switched to Chinese If it was possible, Buy nevertheless I am learning Chinese using Pimsleur Chinese and Chinesepod and hopefully I will be able to speak Chinese soon .... (I can already say simple things in Chinese but nothing much)
