Default Lesson 10 - Greetings, words etc..

So, this is a bit different than the previous letters..

HEI! MITÄ KUULUU? KIITOS HYVÄÄ!
Hello! How are you? Fine thanks!

Informal greetings can be used at any time.. and they are especially used between friends and young people. Here are some:

Many thanks

Kiitti
Thanks (Colloquial)

Ole hyvä
Here you go/are

Ei kestä
You're welcome

Olkaa hyvä
Here you are (formal and plular)

The phrases ole hyvä, olkaa hyvä are used when giving something to someone, or, say, letting someone to go ahead you, or giving someone a permission to do something.

Voi anteeksi!
Oh, I'm sorry!

Ei se mitään.
It's alright / Never mind
