yes we can make shaddah like that , because what is meant by shaddah is stressing in the letter so it would sound as 2 letters , but it is written 1 letter .. but when we break it , it will go to 2 letters again

a) Pirkko (-lle, allative) ->Pirkolle(not sure)
b) ranta (-ssa -ssä, inessive) ->ranassa c) puku (genitive form) ->puvun d) silta (-lla -llä, adessive) ->sillilla(surely wrong)

This is a bit tricky.
d) silta (-lla -llä, adessive) -> sillalla Seeing this exercise first made me wonder, where does the extra -lla come from? But of course. 1: lt -> ll (in this case, lta -> lla) 2: -lla to mark the adessive Heh. Even I, a native Finnish speaker, am learning Finnish by these lessons =D Well, not learning, but understanding and analyzing. I'm getting to know just *why* I speak the way I do :D |
