Asalamu'w`Alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu, atmanna'lkoum Aid moubarak.
I have a question regarding the Qur'an. I speak Hebrew, English and French, with very basic knowledge of Arabic. I wish to learn how to read the Qur'an, but there are no Mosques where I live. I don't even believe there is a Muslim community unless I travel into one of the big cities. Does anyone have any links to websites that are effective in teaching the alphabet, and/or possibly teaching you how to read the Qur'an efficiently? I am not exactly worried about comprehension at this point, since of course, I can look over to my English translation if I am confused about something. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated! Shalom/Salam! |

Hello Gloria, Ma Shlomekh?
wa "alaykumu ssalaamu wa raHmatu Allahe wa barakaatuh I didn't find better than this site, I hope it's helpful though it doesn't teach the alphabet: IslamOnline.net For the alphabet you may wanna have a look at wikipedia Arabic alphabet page, I believe it will be helpful. And for how to read Quran (aHkaamu ttelaawah), please have a look at this: Rules of Recitation L'hitraot ![]()
