Default What is the best English-Arabic Dictionary?

I want to buy the biggest or best English-Arabic Dictionary to have for reference and learning. It needs to have Arabic script, English and pronounciations. By this I mean, I want to be able to look up an English word alphabetically and have the Arabic word listed next to it. If it also had Arabic words alphabetically, and the corresponding English word, that would be nice too, albeit less helpful art this point.

I'm doing a google search, but I'm asking for your opinion, since you are all experts on the matter Also, I get the feeling that an outdated dictionary would probably do me some harm, to learn words from. Does anyone know of a good one that you can recommend? Just the name, I can find it

Edit: I just saw some electronic dictionaries, I wonder if I should look into them...

Hello bigbossmatt,

Well, for me I use AL-Mawrid : A Modern English-Arabic dictionary...will, this is a good one .
As for the online dictionaries, I use ÇáÞÇãæÓ ãÊÚÏÏ ÇááÛÇÊ .. this is a multiligual dictionary, and it works well for me.
Try these and I hope they will be useful for you.

Good luck

Red face

Hello everybody,
I have a small story with dictionaries.

I have tested many of dictionaries, like Alkamoos from Sakr
& I have tested Alwafi on PC...

but really if you want to learn & speak english & understand all words & grammar very well... do like what I did.

I have bought a small electronic dictionary & I have improved my self to best ranks in english, because this way you will not loss any time to learn just only learn & learn!

You will find many of websites sell these devices, but I have tested dictionary from franklin.com & it's not a good electronic dictionary & it's very weak!!.

& I have tested EW800 from ectaco.co.uk, but it didn't improve me very well.

I tried many & many, finally I have the SD9000sc from agcshop.com, it's the best which I have. I hope you to test it.

I'm studing English in university & I find this device very useful...
This is my opinion...

Thank you...
