Small corrections

- Shukran takes no waaw : شكرا
- Since "al-jayyed" takes "al", then "mawdoo3" has to de defined too.
- Mofeedan doesn't take waaw either.
- Structure: You can't really start the second sentence with "wa"..
Basically you said "thanks for the good topic. And it was efficient and very helpful". "And" and the past tense aren't good.
So all in all, I'd suggest:

شكرا على الموضوع الجيد. إنه فعال و مفيد جدا.

Hello, Salam, Marhaba

yes, salam means peace

marhaba is used in Morocco and and in libanon ...
it use too to say hello, when I say salam or marhaba it's the same

salam is used for saying hello and also to say good bey,
it is a greeting of the Moslem " essalâmou 3alaik " want to say hello " to you ": the peace is with you
