Salam, guys!
What about the accent of badawi nomads of desert? I heard in the old times literary people and intellectuals used to listen to their speech a lot, to make corrections in their own standard Arabic fus7a, to make borrowings and etc. I also heard that not as many people these days actually lead this kind of nomadic lifestyle. First of all Sham countries are: Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Palestine
Sham countries speak shami dialects these dialects are similar but they are not the same they differ, actually the Lebanese and Syrian dialects are closer to each other than to the other dialects; Jordanian and Palestinian dialects are actually almost the same. and by the way: inside one country their are more than one accent (not dialect), for example Lebanese in Beirut accent differs from the south, in Syria people of 7ms (a city) have a very special accent that distinguishes them from other Syrians, in Palestine people of the north speak Syrian dialect and in the south Jordanian dialect. Hope it’s clear now
