Nani,
Thank you very much indeed! My God! Egyptian is really something you know, so what they do they put "m" in front and "sh" at the end of a word? That is pretty close to French way, right? |

You are welocme Abu-dana , and yes , to negate, Egyption will add * ma * which is another equivelent to * la * before the word and *sh* at the end of it .. ma tel3absh = la tal3ab= don't play ... ma tnamsh = la tanam= don't sleep . ma ba7ebesh = la u7ebu= I don't like .... and so on. ![]() |

So, Nani, Masa ilkhayir!
It's not that I question your knowledge. Please, could you tell me if they still use these imperatives in Arabic everyday use or only it's formal Fus7a language? لِنَكتُبْ لِيَكتُبُوا Is my understanding of it correct do you think, Nani? As I explained below here: To address to 1st and 3rd persons you should add "Lam+kasra=Li" in front of the word, which itself is a reduced form of present tense لِنَكتُبْ for 1st person plural like "let's write!" (we go and write) لِيَكتُبُوا for 3rd person plural like "let them write" (they go and write) |

well, no one say لنكتب in everyday use, and i mentioned that earlier. i guess you did not see them because htey were not colored ???? ***By the way these words are spoken only in fus7a. And yes as you understood them, these words mean: لنكتب : in everday use is : yalla nektub ( like : come on lets write ) .. or khaleena nektub ( let us write ) .. |

well Abu_dana , we also study it for 12 years at school and we don't use it at all LOL ...
As we agreed upon earlier that studying fus7a might be better because when you know fus7a things will be more clear to you .. and if you read Qura'n you can learn alot .. do u listen/read Quran in Arabic or in kazak language ? if not in Arabic, i would suggest you try to listen to it in Arabic and am sure you will have a clear idea .. also , hearing Quran in Arabic will teach you how to pronounce س , ص , ض,ظ ... There are many good site for reading and listening to Quran at the same time over the net , i can recommend some if u want. |
