I like languages ... always have.. when I was a kid I learned languages when my father did ...english, french and some latin in school
I hate not understanding people as well.. so I try to learn more ebery day

Hmm.....This is a bit interesting question.Because most of people like his/her language.
For me, of course i love my language,i love how it sounds,cause it is my own culture.But at the same time,i love some of the other languages but i never forget what my language worths for me!

In fact I don't specially like german ... when I'm with friends speaking the french, english, german fluent as well we change laguage along with the subjects...
practical questions in german, love issues in french and technical stuff in english

I envy people like you all who speaks different languages. I love my own language (Italian) because...I don't know why! Because is part of me! Because it keep inside all our culture and because (in my opinion) it sounds good!
But I can't only think not to be able to understand, or better not to be able to communicate with others when I will not on my land! In my opinion this is one of the most unpleasant feelings.

Italian sounds nice yes
 When I was a kid (4years old) on holidays in Jugoslawia with my parents I ran away... they found me sitting with an old woman shepherd.. telling me stories in her laguage.. didn't bother me back then to not understand a word

I love my language so much. I speak Arabic and it's so nice and sounds great. I love Turkish so much, Italian and french. But I don't think that I hate my language or something.
