But being cynical goes beyond just being aware of harsh reality. Being cynical is mostly focusing on the bad things in life, even if they're true. That's why I prefer to be realistic overall. Being realistic is not just acknowledging cruelty and other hard truths in the world. Being realistic acknowledges that there really are good things to be found in life as well

Theres being a cynic and then being groosly arrogant. Im a cynic but I am humorous about it. Others are cynics by nature and its a mood downer.
