I don't smoke but my dad does and I'm sick of it. I wish he'd quit it. when I asked him why he started smoking, he said he did it because he wanted to act cool in front of all his friends and couldn't quit it ever since. He was 17 then and now he is 73 years old. he is pefectly healthy and has no problems with his lungs even though he smokes more than 4 packs a day. he is killing me and my mom slowly with all that smoke but it seems he doesn't care. so my question is, why do non-smokers have to die because of other people bad habit of smoking?

That's soooo true....if dey wanna smoke oh wellz but second hand smoking is alot worst....so even if dey say they dont care bout themselves they are affecting other and killin others slowly but surely......I'm in a worst situation I'm pregant and my bf smokes in the house we get into alot of argument cause he doesnt want to smoke outside he think by me not being in the same room has not effect but if the windows are close I'm still breathing that.

My name is Arawen.
I just began smoking last week. I attempted to search the internet for information about the pros of smoking. Sadly, I was only met with cons. I am only 17. I am not starting to impress anyone or because my friends do it. I was simply curious. I experienced no headaches or dizziness.. and I was wondering if those of you who do smoke could supply me with some of the pros of smoking from your experience. I have not yet decided whether or not this is a habbit I wish to keep. But, I am interested in learning more about it...all I've heard so far is how it's going to kill me... You could never smoke a day in your life and get hit by a bus on your way to church...so I' m looking for another take on the subject. Thanks. |

i dont smoke ,so maybe i can not tell you the harms of it from my 'experiences'.But i should say that, you are at the beginning and you shouldnt go on trying it anymore not to make it a habit. It is not a good thing to kill yourself slowly and badly. You should think of it a lot.It might be so late when you want to give up.
And curiosity is not good at all. ![]()

Trust me on this one its not a good choiice if you decide you would like to smoke. I used to smoke for almost 10 years and recently stop due to I got pregnant... i been feenin for a cigarette at the beginning of my pregnancy but knew its bad for my baby's health...now its been almost 9 months and cant even stand the smell of cigarette...There's a million differerent things to try but smokin is not good....you definately not going to see any effect now but trust me later on you would regret it...
