I don't know .. if it's about love between boy & girl, I think to be loved came first, but I know it's hard to be loved whithout loving.
In general, I think when we are loved, we love ourselves more, I mean we love ourselves the way others love us, and we just love them in return the way they are, we love them because we feel ourselves "¿inside of them?", and the same thing for them.

You mean we love them because they love us.?
If so,It might be true for some.But not for me,i can not love someone easily,and for a reason like that.

About the general case, of course you can't love someone for no reason, but you love people who love you, I don't think you can't, I mean the normal love (for friends, family...)
About the other love : I don't know .. I think to be loved came first, but I know it's hard to be loved whithout loving.
