The question is about the way we should articulate past, present and future. If they just describe the fluent mouvement of our existence, then present doesn't exist for itself, but only in its relationship with the past and the present. Yet we feel we just live in the present, and for us, past and future don't exist so much with present. How can we resolve this question?

This question is unresolved...But I think that only present exist for us. Past is already gone and the future hasn't come yet...But we think about the future, and the past so often that we are revitalising it all the time and make it even more important that the present moment. And this makes us miserable. Animals do not know the future or the past, and live only "now". And I think it's so much better...

The past exist? Are you sure? I think that the past exist only in our minds. Objective existence belongs only to the present, to a moment of our life which is now. In a few seconds it will be gone. But retained in our memory,it is something we cannot avoid...

past existed
present exists future will exist lol ![]() seriously this question is too phylosophical to me , if you talk about material existance then only present exist cause you can see it you can "touch it" but if you're talking about existance in our minds then everything exist if you just take a time and thik about it ps : you didn't understand a thing , ... me too ![]()

Time is (as lots of other stuff) something we don't understand, don't see, only measure. What about the rest of our dimensional cage? We only know and grasp it all to the limits.
I say there's got to be something more...I know curiosity killed the cat (pour thing), but mine only got me saved, ha! ![]() There is a cool true story I really like. Until 4 years old Albert Einstein was considered a retarded child, because he didn't talk. On his 4-th birthday his uncle brought him a compass and said:"Don't worry Albert, not everyone is born to be a professor." Little Albert went to the corner and sat there for hours looking at the compass. Finally he walked into the room where guests where gathered and astonished everyone by saying: "Around this arrow has to be something that makes it spin." Yep, there was - magnetic field. I say let's follow the suit and look beyond what we see ... |
