Silence is not the same. Music is not silence. Silence is no-sound-at-all, but are we able to feel it? I doubt it...

I think silence is defined by sound, perhaps a non-sound aspect of existence is silence. There is no silence - sound or non-sound.

I think have an answer is impossible. Everyone has his own definition of silence. And all the answers are so real

Silence is when all around is speaking to you.

Silence is the scream of tranquillity.

..but in my opinion, the most common "practical-sensation" about silence is when you are at night on a beach. In front of the sea. No one around and you can only hear the magnificent sound of the sea waves that whisper you.

silence is an absence of sound. altho it is impossible to reach a point of silence unless there was nothing in existance
