How would you define a NORM?

For me the normal way is when it's between a woman and a man, because after all the aim of sex is reprodcution, the aim is the continuation of the kind, the pleasure is just a way of make it beautifull, imagine people having sex and they don't please it, why would they get a matter of reproduction they wouldn't care, not only man kind but all kinds would be exteminated.. it's a part of instinct.. but I don't mean that only this aim is important, we are humains as I think, we have feelings, love between the man and the women must exist before, because it's sertainly that love that make them both think of having something shared between each other : children.

I dont think at all that having sex with the same gender is normal, I just can't imagine!! for me it's cruel, even animals don't do that, animals seems logic sometimes, but I think it's a kind of illness.. , and I am sorry, I don't mean to hurt, it's only my point of view.

I try in my mind to reach the question : How a person can be "humain"?, because the apparence of the body is not enough.

I understand you. Really. But having sex with the same gender can be precious...believe me - I'm bisexual and I do enjoy to be with girls, really. Or maybe even it's just better than sex with males... More sensual...Normal? I don't know. Probably "no way" for many people. Ok, I agree. Against norms, or...I don't know. But, it gives me some kind of joy, so why the hell not? Now I'm practicing a kind of a specific celibacy, and I do enjoy it too. Normal?

i understand you, devanymfix, as my father is maroccan and share the same viewpoint. but i agree with dusio, as a lesbian myself, i can imagine being attracted by a man physically but i can't have sex anyway and being as blossomed as i am with a girl...

then, to answer dusio, for me, a norm is a kind of a social creterion that everybody, in this society, refers to : that implies loads of different behaviours : people do respect the norms, other don't, but the social reference to say if a person is normal or not is to refer to these norms...

for instance, your (and mine) sexual life are not normal as in our respective countries, most of people are heterosexual (maybe 90%) and their sexual behaviour are the norm (heterosexuality)... but.. anyway...i rekon love is shared by everyone, gay, bi, heterosexual.. that's part of human-being.. maybe that's one of the thing (with the need of eating, drinking...) that all humans in the world have in common.

so i dont really understand why wonder about the place of "what is normal"(which is relative to everyone, and every culture) in love (which is general, and is a feeling shared by everyone...)

Because for you the pleasure is your aim... what is pleasure? what do you got after it?
I can't decide only about who give me more pleasure, and I don't think that a girl like me can please me, my mind don't accept it, because I see things like this : -- or ++ can't be together only +&- or -&+ can do it, looking for who complete the other not who reflect it, you understand what I mean, beacuse after all you are a girl..

its not only a question of pleasure.. its just that...how explain to you.. i CAN'T have sex with a boy, i'm bored, they disgust me : its not only a question like "how can i have more pleasure, maybe by trying girls i will have much more than with boys!" for me, its "natural" to be with a girls...its beyond my will...

i understand what you mean, but i don't really see a boy like a "-" and a girl like a "+" : we have a different sex, but we can "mix".. after all, when you have sex you don't say to yourself "i'm making a coït to make a baby" : we have a kind of "instinct" that prompt you to follow your physical attraction, and normally you are attracted by the other sex.. but sometimes, it doesn't work..
you know, if i shose, i would be heterosexual. really, that's much more simple, and i tried with boys, but..that's it, that's impossible for me.
anyway, you can be gay and be in love, and be socialy "normal" and accepted in some countries - and i'm happy to live here. otherwise, i would have been obliged to marry a man and our sexual life would be a kind of disaster! ^^

We have mind also, deciding only following my desires is not logic, but I can't blame you because as I said for me this behaviour is a kind of illness so maybe you are not responsible of what you do. If I tell you : there is someone who likes to do sex with animals because he is attracted to them.. for him it's just like that, maybe he think he is an animal, despite the reality of beeing humain this person seeks pleasure, it's not about with who he feel attracted, but it's why he feel attracted? and the answer : "because it please more" is not a reason.
