I think being bad or good depends on ones environment. If you're around good people, you will be a good natured person. And the same goes for being bad. It all just depends on the type of people bring you up and what kind of values you are taught throughout life.

Well, if so, there should be no killers and rapers among good people and there are many, and there should be only bad people comming from the bad environment, and we all know that there are many good people to come from there.

One question to ask about good or bad in human nature is: where is the good or the bad within human nature itself? In the emotions? In the brain? In consciousness? If people are "good" by nature that means we have something inborn with which to base our actions upon. It's hard enough to determine whether or not an action is good or bad, much less whether people themselves are good or bad. Right now there is no evidence, that I know of at least, that good and evil are any more than human inventions or reactions to the world. That said, we can decide what is good and bad based upon on our own experience of the world and our interactions with it. We don't have good or bad within us, nor is there good or bad within our actions. "Good" and "bad" only exist in the context of human judgment or human language. Another way to answer the question is: "it depends on what we decide."

I can agree in some point but I still think that people are bad by nature...Only the people destroy everything around them and destroy themselves for pleasure. We can be better, yes, by the education and by the moral backbone given to us by some institutions, but in general, we are bad as hell...

I agree that there are bad people lurking about with good people. Maybe some good people turn to being bad because of pressure from certain bad folk. Or maybe some good people can turn bad due to a short in their brain. I've seen documentaries on some of this and they check the brains of murderers, rapists, etc., and find abnormalities in them. In some they don't. So would that lead to a subconcious pattern of bad natured thoughts? I guess all of these factors can lead to someone taking a turn for the worse.
