What do you think? Can be rap music a philosophy of life? I think it can, and for me it is I would like to know what is Your opinon.

rap is the music, but in those days is more syntetic beat and fake flow then soul in this music unfortunately

and the rap inventors did have the own philosophy, and rap was just one of the tools to express it,

rap on it own is not a philosophy like your Windows XP is not a PC

Probably you disagree with me so I`m looking forward to see what kind of new philosophy
of life is rap....

Well, I mean rap from past years, I know that these times bring something that is more plastic than realistic, money, chains and cars, but for instance 2pac? Wasn't he rebel? With what was he fighting and for what? Many people from dregs of society would never take a book to learn what they should do in their situation.
And I think you're right, that rap can't be philosophy of life, rap is rather poetry from sh...t parts of artist's life than philosophy, and is it easy to do poetry from shi....? I don't think so.
And one more thing, why not to share with someone our thoughs, maybe there will be someone that can understand what it is all about, what people should do when they don't have money, place to live or pathological family- example? Thug life - and it don' t mean that you have to go on street and rob and steal, but even when you were a thug in past and you hadn't good childhood you are still able to reach your dreams.

I think a bit like Makavel even if rap is not my music.
Alll kind of music could be a philosophy if there is a message. for the moment i've never heard a message in rap... i'm waiting for.
But like Nietsch with poetry, a music could bring a message. but apart b..ch f..k an motherf..ker there is no messag more.

well the point is the rap, hh and so all over the world look different, different beats and topics

did u ever hear the polish, czech, russian, japanise rap?

the rap is just the tool which by others develop the song author`s philosophy.

there is also common connect to a subculture where guys wear baggy clothes, skateboarding and do graffiti,

the rap is just the way for some people to tell what they think and how they do the certain things

u can do shitty rap with no message at all and is still a rap
any music on it own cannot be a philosopy

philosophy means from old greek the wisdom of the word and another to say
once again rap is just a tool

that what I think, if I get it wrong provide me with some arguments
