Okay, I know things get pretty tough for alot of teenagers out there me being a former "Cutter" I have been through that whole process, alot of people say that they starve for attention. Personally I can not say wether that is true or not because I can not slip into the minds of every cutter that has ever been there. I do however state how I did feel at the time it occured.
I felt alone, dead, going through my life with no emotions what so ever, the song by the Goo-Goo Dolls, "Iris" says "You bleed just to know your alive" I can personally say I know what he's talking about when he says that. I am now recovered and haven't cut in almost a year, my scars are the only sighns that the blade once sliced down my wrist. I regret the choice now, it was stupid, however I believe I did the correct thing in seeking help. We all have our mistakes and this is one of mine. I learned from it greatly and I now use that knowledge to help others. My friends keep me in check & I am now happy, some of the time. ![]() ![]() |

gg with the not self harming thing i burned myself the other day and it remineded me of a few years ago when i too cut myself... and yeah im a bloke.. it made me feel incontrol again and i felt like doin it again but self withstraint stops that ppl who do self harm just need other outlets for it. i could sit here an list some potential "outlets" for it but there would be no point i found it was better to stumble across it. more personal that way shootin stuff helped for me.. nothing living tho
ps pain for plesure is different soo i aint a hypocrit on my myspace pps i cut my self origionaly for self control only after id stopped did i realise that i enjoyed it
