Hi !

I neither looked for sites, nor know anything about theosophy, but here are a few books about metaphysics :

Aristotle Metaphysics
Descartes Metaphysic meditation
Leibniz Monadology
Heidegger Being and time
Sartre Being and nothingness

List ( very ) far from being exhaustive.

I only know the French titles, so the ones I give may be a bit different in English.

I studied theosophy and metaphysics for many years and much appealed to me. I could not become a member as although the teaching is of equality and brotherhood, that everyone is on the same road headed to the same goal, in practice I found each person counted themselves further along the road than others! Each one was following his or her own brand of dogmatism, rather than the liberality of the teachings. Nevertheless the studies threw a lot of light on explaining the differences in conventional church teachings, and I am eternally grateful. Eventually I discovered the Liberal Quakers, where I at last found my home.
