Do you really think that espionage and treason are worth the capital punishment? You're frightning

Treason should be punishable by exportation, period.

In Britain anyone who's come here explicitly to breed terrorism or incite hate can burn a flag or plot murder and expect to get away with it because treason isn't taken seriously.

My personal view is to be against capital punishment. To me, human life - at any age - is sacred and precious and no crime warrants causing another person to have to kill (ie, the executioner).

It all comes down to the question, what is the ultimate purpose of the justice system/sentencing for crimes? Is it a) to punish, b) to keep the rest of the community safe by removing dangerous individuals.
If a) then I can understand, if not agree with, the idea of capital punishment. If b), capital punishment has not a leg to stand on: there are better ways.

death should be a release not a punishment LIFE sentances and i mean life with only the bare nesesities are more fitting oh an none of this human rights noncence if you are getting LIFE centence for say being a serial killer then why do you deserve to have all the creature comforts however capital punishmeent saves time and money due to the creature comforts that all life prisoners get ITS STUPID either do away with them (the offenders) or minimum costs and minimum materialistic posessions

Default Capital punishment does not work

I think that capital punishment is an abstraction for murderers and other criminals. It does not work. Boot camps, hard work ... I think it's much better...
