I think God dont exist. I have hear, that God (religion) was created just for reasons of policy. For example Christianity was maintained, because Christianity unite people. I think that God is just our trusts and hopes in our hearts. But in real, God dont exist. But on the other hand, i don't think so, that we are developed from monkeys.. So who have created us?

I agree with anarvorig. You cannot think about God without thinking the different religions. The two are bound together.

So let's just sit a moment and consider the proposition that God truely exists. I will try to be as objective as one can and if I fail, please pardon me.

God created the world and Man. After seeing it was a bit of a mess, he sent his beloved son to earth to save its people. Jesus was born amongst the poor and brought peace and happiness everywhere he went. He died as a martyr on the cross.
So, what was left from God on earth therefore was the Church (sorry if I take everything from a Christian point of view). The Pope would represent the allmighty and guide God's folk.
So far, so good.

However, I have trouble accepting what the Church has done ever since. And I fear that if God exists, he is quite ashamed of what has been commited by people who claim following his message.
How many wars? How many people have been slain on religious grounds?
Also in a world where poverty touches one individual out of four (or five), how can God's true followers stay still in Vatican City, debating about the ways to expand the Church's influence in unspoiled areas.
Have God's followers forgotten the real message? The 'love thy brother' thing?
Has it all been reduced to 'lip service'?

I reject the vision the Church want to impose.

To help I will give a few figures.
The budget of Vatican City was $253m in 2003. Imagine what could be done with this money to protect children for hunger in Africa for example.
If you find $253m to be a small amount, well the $2.3b from the assets controlled by the Opus Dei might ring a bell.

God loves his children, the Church definitely not.

i am agnostic.
i find it amusing that christians do not belive in evolution. but for thoes christians that belive god set evolution in motion. HOW THE HELL do u explain that man was created in gods form?...... erm single celled ameba was 1 of the 1st lifeforms not a complex creation like man.

i like to beleve in something e.g a grand creator... like i have said before it ties up so many loose ends like the begining of everything and the creation of man....altho acording to the bible cavemen do not exist

oh p.s didnt win the lottry last night £93 million hummmmmm.... what kind of god wouldnt let me help people??? i would have set me friends and family up for life and either donated to charaty or started my own......GOD IF HE EXISTS IS NOT LOVE OR PEACE HE IS A KID THAT HAS GOTTEN BORED WITH HIS TOYS......AND SO WE SIT HERE IN A DRAWER GATHERING DUST

I do believe in GOD but this religion thing not really....Ok i gotta question for Osiris. you speak of differnt religions but only explained Jesus and Christians...do you know anything about other religions and how many men di GOD send that we have alot of differtn religions??????
