We need God, because it's an inborn necsesity (like an instinct) placed there by our Creator, the trade mark if you wish, for the simple reason that He himself didn't want to loose contact with us out of His love and concern for us - each one of us.
Just the fact that even unbelievers as you just cannot live completely ignoring the subject is a proof of it. It's like an ever present craving, that you just can't get rid of (try as you may) and that doesn't leave you in peace unless satisfied by Him. You can argue all you want and try all other stuff to get rid of it, but it just wont work, it's like square peg and a round whole.
So let me in turn express my sadness for your blindness and limited perspective as well.
It is so easy to accept what you see and feel anybody can do that, but presence of God opens one's mind to the entire dimension, a that is so much waster and richer in exploration, which only enhances experience of this one we see and feel.
So here let me state again we do enjoy the world you know, as well and the one you don't. So I don't see the reasons for your pity. I will always have more than you can possibly propose me in exchange.

I believe that God does exist... For many reasons... I believe that of all the things that mankind has created is due to some sort of altering something that was originally here before we were. Just the same goes for animals. How did they get here? Many people believe (mostly scientists) that we as a people (mankind) evolved from animals... That over time, we as animals adapted to the changes in our environment through migration. Even through migration, and understanding that everything is different according to demographics, how can that change us from being creatures that crawl to people who can walk?? Explain that... And even if that was probable to happen, who or what do you think aided in this transformation? Many people have this same question in their minds, yet they are afraid to tackle it. Most say that believing there is a God is taboo or feel that people need some sort of hope in their lives, hence the belief in religion and so forth... Let me know what you think.

This is absolutely not true! Most of the scientists agree that the THEORY of Evolution is just that - THEORY! Never had been proven by anyone and has more holes in it than swiss cheese. Why there are no "missing links" present right now around us (no monkeymans, no fishbirds etc)? Why there are petrified trees growing upside down in layers that are supposed to be millions of years old? Why frozen dead mammoth had undigested food in his stomach after millions of years?
And most and foremost, how did dead(non alive) cell became alive in a cataclysmic surroundings of our "prehistory" when best scientists can not make it so in the best of the laboratories?
I would rephrase your statement - some scientist WANT to believe we are animals, because it releases their consciousness from the consequences of the horrors they often create.
Anyone wants to hear my THEORY? I can prove it with my own life and then you decide.
