Hey reema,

I'm really sorry - I'm still not too sure what you mean....but that might be becuase I can't read/ write or speak Arabic lol...

When you say 'every word is perfect' do you mean it just sounds nice or is there something deeper than that?

Default who created god?

Hi
I have read quite a few messages and I thought I would share my thoughts as well with you all. Firstly I wont like to base myself on the holy Quran or the Bible not because I am neither a muslim nor a christian but for the simple reason that the question is not about religion but essentially about faith. Yes the two are corelated but not necessarily if u know what I mean. The big question is Do you believe in God?
For me I do believe in a supreme power because I know that science has failed to provide answers of the most elementary questions. Who are we? What are we doing? What happens after we die?
God exists but who created him?....................back to square 1...

Hi anything ...
Every word in the Quran is in its right place, if it's replaced with another word..it's clear to scholars and some people there's weakness and imperfection in this word. There is a lot to say about this.. anything... but I don'twant others to get bored reading a long reply.

Thanks..nice talking to you

Shruti...hi

Your question " who created God?" has two answers..first..if I say" God is created by its creator"..this will lead to endless questions like" who created the creator of God?".." Who created the creator of the creator of God?"..etc.
Don't you think it has no sense..shruti?

The second answer is God is not created..He is the creator of every thing. If you ponder the universe.. every thing has its place and role...this leads to the answer that is the Creator of this universe is Wise, Capable, and knows every thing..and these qualities refer to the absolute perfection that only God has.
You know that humans are not perfect. Also, we don't know much about the universe which's created..so how can we know much about the existence of God? I mean..it's like we're comparing ourselves and (you know we're not perfect )to God who is Perfect. We are created and we think that God is like us.. created..this is what's led us to the question"Who created God?" ..How can the created compare themselves to the Creator???
For me..I believe that there is only one God who created this universe. The way I know more about God is through his prophets.

Glad you joined in this discussion
see you

Hi Reema
Thanks for welcoming me.
I still feel it is a relevant question. How did it all begin? Yes, god created the universe. Contrary to many non believers this is the most logical and rational explanation that is on the table. But what is more intriguing I feel is how did He/She come into being? Here I refer to the highest supreme power and not the son(s) or daughter(s) of god. Well i am not taking this discussion to another level but trying to get to the roots...... What do you think?

Does all this have to start at any moment?
Can't you handle with thee idea of everlasting? Never started and never ending. I guess that would a rational explanation before you can get to something more rational or more scientific (a periodic creation of universe... or such theories).

because we are not "perfect" we can't imagine something which can have no begining nor end.........

Hi..shruti
I'm not sure I understand you? you said..not the sons or daughters
of God..??? What does that mean? and what is the supreme power in your opinion?
Allah said in the Quran"He is the First (nothing is before Him) and the Last (nothing is after Him), the Most High (nothing is above Him) and the Most Near (nothing is nearer than Him)
And He is the All-Knower of every thing" This is just a translation.

Thank you

Vicram..Hi
I completely agree with you..but I'd like to add that God didn't creat us to be confused. So, the question is why did God creat us?
