Hi there
![]() I have been reading pretty much in the forums around people talking about races... especially human races. I don't know what definition of race people were thinking of when writing their posts, though I just wanted to say that: race has a scientifical definition moslty based on genes numeration and identification. And it has been prooved a while ago that there is no different human races. Which is different from dogs for exemple where there are races. Every human on earth belong to the same race (PS if you have a couple question concerning the scientifical definition of race i will be glad to answer you ) |

Your definition is quite good, I agree 100%. But all humanbeings are not scientists, so we should be patient in explaining when someone don't think so.

even though you are not scientist I guess you can understand that (a bit simplified of course but still true):
people are built since a given number of genes each gene is made of three-letter words and the alphabet is 4 letters long (A, T G and C) then, when you compare the letters of the genes between two different people you can know how much letters are different. It happens that every human is closer to another human than to any other animal. Which means there is no human race. At the opposit a given dog can be closer (still comparing the A t G and C letters) to a pig than to another dog. Thus the the two given dogs are from different races. Have I been understandable? |

Yes, I understand you quite from the beginning, but the problem is I'm not illiterate or stubborn to sicences. It's better chance that you explained to me, just think that when you explained the same to a ... i.e. to your girlfriend or your wife, can you imagine the consequence, serius must it be!
You are logical and materialistic, but human being as human is not perceiving the same as a sage-to-be, like a scientist. Further, I was enraged by your deletings, so I DECIDE to learn French to quarrel with you. |

I never said the scientific definition was the only one so far.
And why my girlfriend would not understand that? If I can, if you can anybody may understand. See you in ten years for your french ![]() I guess you'd better try out with english first. It is told to be easier than french and you can improve a lot yet ![]() Last edited by The_FD; 07-08-2005 at 12:54 PM. |
