Someone very close to me (Hong Kong Chinese) had a similar problem. I think ghosts are taken more seriously in the Chinese Culture than here in Europe. That happened after my friends father died. She had weird but realistic dreams.

Doors opening and someone sitting at her bed, not visible but obvious. These were not dreams. From the way she described it, whenever it happened there was a negative resp. bad atmosphere. As it could not go on this way, she went to see her friends mother who is what they call a wise woman. But this could possibly be a fortune teller as well.

Please forgive me if I dont know in detail what they do but the main thing was in that particular case that we, the living, have to let go of the dead so they can move on as well. This may be completely different for your girlfriend and I apologize if my post is just wasting your time. But in this situation, my girlfriend went to see this woman and it worked.

They put signs on doors and she also has a special coin on her. Here and there it still happens but very seldom. A psychiatrist may be able to help but this is possibly beyond of what we know so it may have to be a psychotherapist.

I think that one of the best thing would be to speak to an older person. You will be surprised how much they know. We may laugh at certain things but we shouldnt as their wisdom is invaluable.

Hi guys.

Well she's fine now. We've been to a psychiatrist, pastor etc. Many weird things have happened that I cannot explain (and believe me... I always try to find a reasonable explanation). I dunno if it was a mental of religious problem. Maybe both but... and now I'm gonna say something, that ~5 months ago I would laugh at ... I'm more convinced with the "paranormal" explanation.

Why? Well it's a damn long, long, loooong story. But I came to a moment in my life when I had to ask myself if I really believe in God. Well I do. Although I'm not some Bible basher. I still believe in evolution, natural creation of Earth etc. But I had a chance to look closer into the Bible and there's lot of wise stuff!

But enough of my conversion. My girlfriend is ok now. Thanks for your concern.
