I just really wanted things to be sorted out. When we comment about tatoos, we do not intend by any means to affect someone's beliefs or principles to make them apply the same restrictions to tatoos as we do. We actually just apply our principles on ourselves... so don't take it personally.
Enough said.

if you mean by tatoos ( the drwaing with Henna), i think it's not forbidden in Islam the waman can make it for her husband ,but it shouldn't with abnormmal drwaing and shouldn't contain the name of Allah or the prophit . I personnaly like drwaing by Henna .i think it's intresting

We're talking about permanent tattoos, not the one made in Henna which I think you need to renew for it to stay on you're skin...

When caucasian people in Australia have traditional chinese tattoos, I ask why? Even if the tattoo means something to them when it is translated (like a special phrase, or their husbands name). But then what has traditional chinese writing got to do with you?

Why not write the same phrase in your own language?

I am not religious so I don't care whether or not it is against islam to get a tattoo of anything or even the word Allah.
If I may, I've seen many people get Kanji-Japanese-tattoos. Reason? Fad. Many people get them because their friends have one and they think they're special. I think they look like items from a chinese menu.

Many languages can look pleasing to the eye. Kanji doesn't look pleasing. Neither does some other languages or script. I like the way hebrew looks, even though I have no idea what I'm looking at. Bajoran, Romulan, and Narn, all science fiction languages, look cool. I know someone that has Klingon-Star Trek-tattooed on his back. I think it said something like "Today is a good day to die". To tell you the truth, for him, every day is a good day to die.

Anyhow, getting something in english would really suck. I've seen plenty of english script that look extremely terrible. The Old English font many people use just looks illegible, hard to read. I'd never have something like that on my body.

To all, tattoo your heart out of you like, and don't if you don't want tattoos. Just don't restrict others from getting them.

One last thing: plain skin is beautiful too.
