I've translated the names in Arabic, and I join them in an image to make sure you get them right.

The one above is Abigail (their is no "g" in Arabic, we use a kind of "r" instead) and the one below is Abbie. I think you are better with the first one since "Abbie" is written like "abi" which means "my father" in Arabic.

However, I advise you to wait for the confirmation of an arabic speaker if you want to make sure you got the names right.

Update:
I'm not able to join the image.
Here it is:
أبيغايل
أبي

A in the first name isn't the same A of Abbie, huh? That solves the issue of mixing up Abbie with "daddy" .

So Abbie becomes:
آبي

And well done Klowj .

I wasn't sure which was which... And first, I thought it was the mamduda

So this website is partially wrong: Alphabet arabe, mode d'écriture et de translittération (It is ok in Arabic but not in English)

Thanks for the link to the lessons, but I think it a little too advanced for me now. I hardly understand a text written in Arabic.

Next time, I will double-check with my own grammars instead of first website I come up to.
