En fait cela dépend de la prononciation. Chez nous, la lettre arabe "ت" est prononcée "Ts" (un petit son "s" à la fin) ce qui fait que "تانيا" est prononcé "TsANIA".

I agree with Redawa's translation, it's more appropriate to someone in Italy to use the ط than ت especially for this name.
