about TUNISIA!

Marhaban!

I'm really interested to know many things about this country:Tunisi.

How are people there? What about religion? And languages?(I know that they can speak both arabic and french..but is english quite spread??)

I'd like to know these things 'cuz my boyfriend (Turkish) is going there to stay for a while...so if somebody can help me to know something more about Tunisi I'll be glad for his/her help

All religions are tolerated but the majority of Tunisians are Muslims (moderates).

As you said, not only all Tunisians are bilinguals and speak French besides Arabic... But also, there is who can speak English (not so spread as french obviously), Italian, German, Spanish and Russian... And if you go in tourist areas, you can use and practice all languages that you know...

I've another question...somebody told me that isn't good to come there for women

but I did'nt understand WHY!!?? Your women usually have to wear a veil or something like that? If it's only this I don't mind

it's just culture! Or maybe you don't like "european" women that wear with really short dresses?I don't know!They just told me like this but I'd like to know more

It's a pleasure for me to tell you the reality about my country!

Here too, you can study arabic in specialized schools and universities.
For those who scare you about Tunisia, I just say: "Don't be afraid and don't give them attention. They don't know Tunisia!"
Besides, Italy is at 1 hour by plane from Tunis, so come and you will see by your own eyes.

In fact, I don't pay them attention..I like to see with my eyes the reality of a country cuz nobody can judge without knowing!
