Arrow Help in translation

Hi, everyone. I'm currently trying to learn a few Arabic phrases for some friends. I was hoping you can help me out.

I hope you'll forgive such basic questions from me, but I was wondering how to say "I love you" in Arabic, both to a man and a woman.

And is there a way for me to type Arabic characters in my computer? Can I just copy and paste?

Thanks for all your help. This is such a great forum. =)

Basic questions are FORBIDDEN here! It's a place for fluent people in Arabic!

-- Jokes aside, feel free to ask any questions you have in mind, we are here to help . We all here learn new languages too, so we know how it feels like to be eager to know a tiny detail that everyone else already speaking the language seems to know.

For "I love you", it's written as: أحبك
You read it as "ohibboka" said to a man, and "ohibboki" said to a woman. The h here is different than the English h and it's a letter that is specific to the Arabic language.

You can copy and paste this word somewhere that supports Arabic, otherwise it'll be messed up.
And to type online - if you don't have Arabic installed in your computer- you can use links such as:
clavier arabe en ligne LEXILOGOS >>
Or:

See you around.

Thanks so much for your reply, Asminha. That's very helpful. But I was wondering, I saw this Arabic word online: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/157/4...0efb879a_o.jpg

Someone told me it's supposed to mean "I love you" in Arabic, but it looks different from the word you wrote. Which version is right or preferrable?

أنا بحبك = ana bhibbak ( said to a man), ana bhibbik ( said to a woman)

yes it means " I love you ", but it's in dialect ( egyptian, libanese )
