Hi !
I wonder if there is any rule how to extract root consonsant from a word. Although I have read that some words have 4-letter roots, I believe mudarris is not one of them (or i am wrong, so it is m-d-r-s ?) Thanks

the root of mudarris is d-r-s
mudarris means teacher. it is the (subject noun) taken from the past verb darras which means taught. it is clear that the root of darras is d-r-s If you want to get the root of a word, you look at the past verb of that word. Most past verbs are roots. |

For certain words it is a little bit difficult to get the root. Especially if you know nothing about the word.
Quote:
ãÏÑÓ is ãÝÚá . then you take the corresponding litters of ÝÚá if 3 litters or ÝÚáá if 4 litters. I may confused you but I belive it is not an easy thing even for arab. words between brakets I dont khow their exact meaning in english. |
