PREAMBLE

The Municipal Immigrants Consultation, afterwards called CONSULTATION, is an instrument of political participation, being understood as a right and a tie to the exercise of the responsabilities towards the local community.
To recognize rights of political participation to the foreign nationals means to promote the increase of the representation of the residents in the local institutions and the participation in the political life.
Conditions, these, that give occasions of necessary civic responsibility for the same social cohesion and integration in the community between native citizens and immigrants.
It is necessary to offer opportunity for integration, to become to pacts between the Italians and the immigrants bases on the acknowledgment.of rights and duties
The political participation is moreover integrating part of the quality of life: it is not possible well living only why we have a job; it is necessary to promote a debate that culture of living together and citizenship favors one.
The Consultation is engaged to promote the active participation to the civil life of the immigrated women and the protection of the equal opportunities.
