I just wonder how some others acknowledge Palm Sunday in their countries? Here in USA at least at our Catholic churches we have the long mass and go outside to the courtyard where the fathers bless the palms we hold in our hands. It is very nice and simple. I have been doing this since childhood. The statues of the saints inside the basilica are covered in shrouds to represent "mourning" of Christ on the cross. Once Easter arrives they remove the shrouds and lay Easter lilies all around. Very traditional for us.

In Poland it's just the same, a mass, palm blessing...I'm not a believer but many people are, so it is a very, very common tradition. Poland is totally Catholic...
