I cannot begin to imagine a person being so evil as to hurt an animal on purpose. Animals are God's creations and everyone should respect that. Anytime I see a stray animal dog or cat I try to call out to the animal and give it a little morsel or food. They normally sense kindness and will come to you. We make the lord happy when we feed a hungry animal or person. I am a cat lover and appreciate any time a little kitty comes around my house. They are here to cheer us up and make us laugh when we are bored or lonely. I know the few cats I have owned were always making me cheerful and laugh a lot. In fact I wish I had a new kitty right now! That would be a great Spring gift a new little kitty!

and you are right they are here to give us company when we are lonely, to make us laugh when we are sad or angry...im a cat lover too and i miss mine.
well i know who did it " my neighbour" she always complains about my cat and tell me that i shouldnt let it go out because it pays her a little visit but my cat got used to it, he made friends outside and hes enjoying going out from time to time... and then she asked me about the food i give him,i found it a bit strange because it's the first time she asked me a question like that but me ,so naif i said "well he doesnt eat everything, Mine must be the only cat on earth that doesn't eat people food. Not even tuna..bla bla bla and i gave her the name of the food".
2 days after my cat came so sick and i was like " oh my god!!!" ive never seen an animal like that. and i knew it was her because since then she cant see me in the eyes or even talk to me or say "hello" like she used to.
only god knows and me as a muslim i believe that torturing an animal is one of the biggest crimes ever.

the Catholic faith teachs us that all the creation has been made by the Christ. All in the creation has to be respected. The animals and pets have been created to allowed the human being not to be alone and find some friendly relationships. We must pay attention to them and respect them because they have been created for us, we must not bring suffer to them.
After the death, we dont know whats happen for them but we can think that like us, the last day all the creation will be renewed because all has been created by and for love. You probably will find again your cat . It is not written in the Catholic faith but nothing says the contrary.
