Default i need the help in somme question

salam alikom
my friend ask me somme quetion but i m not good in englishe to answer him but i wante to help me plz .
this is the questions
Whenever the name of the prophet Muhammad is mentioned there are always the letters "saas" right behind it or behind Allah (swt) or other names like Aisha (r.a.). What do they mean?

In one text the author talks about Allah´s "ayat". What exactly are those ayat?

And as I tried to ask you before in our chat: I don´t understand why the author of one text believes that Jews and Christians try to lure Muslims away from their religion. And the author makes it sound as if all Jews and Christians tried to do so. I don´t think that is right because neither me nor any of the people i know have ever tried to do so.?

I also wonder why the suraat have such strange names like al-baqarah or al-qalam and so on. ?

plz
thanks for answer

Hi gagarine

I know it's too late to answer these questions since it has been here for more than a month.

I really thank you for your effort to tell Islam to non muslims. May Allah bless you.

Whenever the name of the prophet Muhammad is mentioned there are always the letters "saas" right behind it or behind Allah (swt) or other names like Aisha (r.a.). What do they mean?

'saas' means Salla Allah Alaih Wasallam = peace and blessings be upon him.
"swt" means Subhanahu Wa Taala = praise be to His Highness.
"r.a." means Radia Allah Anha = May Allah satisfy on her.

In one text the author talks about Allah´s "ayat". What exactly are those ayat?

" Ayat" has two meanings in Arabic. Either Allah's creatures or Allah's words in his holy book (Quran). It depends upon the topic.
I also wonder why the suraat have such strange names like al-baqarah or al-qalam and so on. ?

Usually, the names of the suraat depends upon the main story in this surah.

I did my best in answering these questions. I hope your friend finds what he seeks & if he finds any mistake or paradox in my answers, this 100% from me not from the religion. by the end, I'm an ordinary Muslim. I'm not a Shiekh.

Thanks.
