a question to the muslims here

I know that a muslim woman is supposed to marry with a moslim man but what if you fall in love with a non-muslim? Do you control your feelings or don't you care for his/her religion then?

well Nelson .. Muslim women usually avoid such situations .. because Muslim women are forbidden to marry a non-muslim , whereas muslim men are able to marry a non-muslim woman .


BUT .. when it comes to feelings , that is a tough question .. sometimes it happens and you find yoruself in love with the forbidden guy, in this case .. the girl might wait until this guy become a muslim or ... if he doesn't want to do so, this should mean the end of thier relation. * thats is if they are thinking about marraige*

Why muslim's world is so radical. Love is like water, and here I've seen unnatural rocks... I'm loving all the people of the world. This question stay me misplaced in thinking about love.

This summer a Muslim girl, Hina Saleem, was killed by her father cause she was living together with her boyfriend, a non-Muslim, an Italian.

I don't have any prejudice (on the contrary I think that Islam has its extremists, like every religion, but in itslef it's a beautiful religion) but why can't a girl marry a man who believes in another God? Maybe I can't understand, as I'm an atheist, but I don't think that a different religion should be an obstacle for love.

Islam allows a Muslim man to marry a non Muslim, but prohibits a woman from marrying a non Muslim unless he converts to Islam.

Well, I am sorry for the girl and her father too ...
But since she was a Muslim, she could have saved herself from this end and did not go against the rules.

I have to tell you SaraMagolione that we Muslims believe that there is only ONE God, and he is the God of Jews, Christiens, and Muslems. And I know that every reiligon has its own rules, what is acceptable and what is forbidden, this has nothing to do with radicalism, this is the essance of the religion, you just have to stick to the rules.
Is Islam against other religions, the answer is no .. and it is acceptable if a Muslim man married a non Muslim, and she can marry him without the obligation of converting to Islam .. why it is forbidden to Muslim women to do so .. I don't really have the answer but I guess it is because in Islam when a woman have children they will have thier fathers religion , not as in Judism where children follow thier mother's religion .. so the children of the Muslim man will still be Muslims even if thier mother was not a Muslim and the children of the Muslim woman will follow thier father's. Although i personally tend to think that mothers have a more deep effect on thier children.

This is the way things goes in our religion and we too feel that love is like a water, but we are not allowed to swim in different seas
WE ALSO LOVE ALL PEOPLE OF THE WORLD ... but there are many times when you don't marry the one you love ...
I know that Love has no boundaries .. we all know that .. but let me tell you something .... I have non muslim girl friends who faced diffeculties from parents and friends when they decided to marry or have a relation with a Muslim guy .. so why is the blame is only about the Islamic side ... lets look at the other side of the coin to see if it doesn't have an unnatural rock .. maybe it is okay for you if your sis or daughter married a Muslim , but it is not okay for others .. and the same goes everywhere.


Finally .. if any of you love a Muslim girl ... you have to convert if you want to marry her, if you think your belief is stronger that your love, Just leave her. It is you and me who decide which is stronger , the belief or LOVE .. and I believe in BOTH

Nani, do you really think that a Muslim girl would ever accept to marry a guy who has been obliged to covert to Islam just for being allowed to marry her?
I am an atheist, but if I were Muslim, or Christian, or Jew or whatever I think I would never accept to force the man I love to give up his religion in order to marry me. I don't know, but it wouldn't have any sense for me. People don't chose their belief. They just have it inside them.
