sorry my freind befor answer to your question you must know that what mean "islam" it is arabic word whish mens "the peace" in the english language
so the muslim loves "allah" (god) mor than any one the islam say we can love any one from other religion and mak with them the peace but in the married in the first the woman when she knows that this ma not muslim she must give up the relation

I am not a believer. I read you all, and that’s what I think :
I read:"A Muslim killed his daughter because she wanted to marry a no-Muslim man."
I prefer this: "A mad man killed his daughter."
The tragedy is the same, it’s awful, terrible, but the colour of the tragedy change.

Why focus about the fact he is Muslim? He is mad! How many mad men/women kill their kids, all over the world? Men/women of any religions, and without religion.
Is that write in the Qran: "A Muslim father have to kill his daughter if she wants to marry a no-Muslim?"
I hadn’t read the Qran, but it’s obvious there is nothing like that madness written in it!

About the girls that have to marry only a Muslim.
That is THEIR belief! Their personal and intimate beliefs. Which they grown up with.
“Yes, but it’s better to have the choice…” What choice? Where is the choice? When in hearth is there a choice?
Who could say : I am completely free of anything I was educated for, of anything I grown up with ?
We could feel free, independent, and so on, our education is still there, hidden or not, in a part of us. That’s what I think. Very personally and I certainly don’t ask for agreement.

Even if we live against our education, it’s still dependent on our education.
I don’t say that there is no change possible, ever. Of course, we can change! Hopefully!! But about things that are so deeply rooted in the spirit, I don’t think so.
Why the belief of the Muslim girls must be a problem to no-Muslim? I really don’t get it.

And when it happened, when a Muslim girl love a no-Muslim, if they ask for help, it’s a thing. But if not? My point : we have only to let them find their own personal way. And if they love each other, they will find out.
Because life is full of gifts when love is around.

It was only my personal view about all that.

I think this question directed to me since I'm a Muslim girl .
I'll try to explain it simply :
For me , I love My God ( Allah ) and I love all the prophets - May peace be upon them - . I don't think I can love someone hates my love .
Islam teaches us how to have a strong character , we can control our feelings and body-needs . Fasting Ramadhan tought us patience , Praying 5 times a day at specific times taught us how to control our time . In Qur'an and Sunnah also we are taught how to control our feelings
So , we can control Love .
The prophet Muhammad - peace be upon him - said : " When one gives up something for the sake of Allah, Allah rewards him manifold ( another better one )"
A Muslim man can only marry a woman from the Book People ( Christians and Jews ) but it's an exception rule applied under special circumstances .

That's all what you know about Islam
oki my friend , if it was UNfair , then why women still converting to Islam ?

why focus on "a Muslim " ? bcz of Islam , although the people who hate Islam try to give a bad picture of it , although they say we women don't have rights in Islam .. Islam still the fastest growing religion and many women are converting to Islam every day

True . There is no verse in Qur'an says that . In Qur'an Allah said :
" Slay NOT your children, fearing a fall to poverty, We shall provide for them and for you. the slaying of them is great sin "

also , God ( Allah ) said in the Holy Qur'an :
"if anyone slew a person―unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land― it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if anyone saved a life it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people "

SaraMaglione :I don't think it's fair to judge 1.7 billion Muslims in the world for the behavior of 1 of them
