Yes there are more mulism people in Bobigny than in Paris, does it mean there have to be more veiled women in Bobigny than in Paris?
If yes that tend to be a proof that mulism women have no other choice than to wear the veil to be accepted in their community. IT is not like that , it is not about being accepted in thier communities ... it is they way they live. And to Nani... i say it again; in France you are free to chose and practice your religion, though you cannot impose it to somebody lse, that's why distincitive religious signs are forbidden at school![/quote] as i said again , being forbidden from practising my religious right doesn't make me feel free in my life. BUT i guess the norm of this world now is that PEOPLE are free not to believe in GOD and they are not free when they believe in GOD , they are forbidden to show that they are believers .. is that so ? IN Islam , we are not allowed to impose religion on anyone .. it is a fre choice and we have to respect all other religions and beliefs. God says : "Let there be no compulsion in religion: truth stands out clear from error." (Al-Baqarah: 256) |

Have you ever thought that when someone wears Hijab he is imposing his religion to the other poeple around?
Then restraining their freedom by imposing his religion Someone's freedom does not stop where somebody else's begins. You are free to bieleve in God, not to show everyone you do. When people decided to forbid the religious signs at school they did not remove the religious rights, they removed signs from school! (under 16) not anything further. That avoids poeple being unaccepted because they wear reigious signs. Have you ever thought neither that a way of living does not necessary means being free. well . i don't see it this way . since i was a kid in school , i learnt that we have to respect others no matter what they believe in, so that the other will respect what we believe in .
I know FD that you respect what i believe in. Maybe you find it hard to understand how women can tolerate wearing a veil .. i can tell u , they tolerate that because we are raised in a way to take Gods words as orders . now if you say this is not a way of living freely , okay ... we are not free , we are slaves of God .. and we enjoy that. thats it . |

Well Nana , as FD said, the government there say that these distincitive religious signs are forbidden at school, because they think that in this way you can impose your religion to somebody else !!!!!!!! i have always seen people wearing the cross , or the hat , or David star , i never thought that the are imposing that on me .
