Let me add one more thing. Not just arab women dress up decently but men too. I have received photos or seen cameras of arab men and women all my friends and I can asure you men also dress up respectfully.
I love the Arabs - I could give you million of reasons why but in my deepest soul I could not tell you all why exactly. Maybe, if there was another life I was an Arab for sure!! I would live among Arabs with much pleasure and I am sure I would have many many many good friends there. I have made many troubles and fights because of that, because of some countries prejudices and I have even been sent out of an English learning room, which I loved to participate because I defended Arabs there. I was threatened by such people who said Arabs were no good but who made the mess? Who closed the door to the other culture, to the "different ones"? The world is so beautiful because our differences which mustn`t cause wars and silly discussions but they must let us all know a bit here and there about our brothers. |

FD knows I am not fighting with him because he is my friend and I like him a lot. But when the subject concerns my friends I make the war!!! My private word war - I fight in words only.
I learned several things about the Arabs as well as Kurds and Turkish people and the more I know their culture and lives the more I love and respect them all. People say.. "Nana.. but you are friend of the Arabs , at the same time of the Kurds and Turkish and etc... HOW COME??? At what side are you ?" I always answer to them: I am at the side of the friendship, respect, peace and love. My friends who know me well, do not get angry with me cos they know I do not take as a personal war these people or those. They learned to respect and understand me as I learned a lot with them. That is what friendship is about!!! |

Just a short word to make sure of something
seems Nana may believe I don't like arabs... Never!!! I am young and open minded, trying to understand as much as I can. I am just wondering what other people from all over the word use to think... To make it clear, I live in Paris, a very cosmopolitan city, and a lot of my best friends are totally or partially arabs ![]() |

Nooooooooooo FD I understand your point and I saw you defending Arabs when that guy said those things about Islam. I know you are a nice person and you do not hate people, that is why you are my friend!
I just meant you shouldn`t start certain topics which can hurt people and which you cannot understand. Got it? |
