I think women shouldn't wear veil to feel more safety, because they have to find their strongness in their inside! I'm proud to myself to be strong with men-girls,go to the gym if you are scared about some men!you'll kick them!eheheh
instead of joking...if some men are like animals(but now i think i'm offending animals! )they have to calm down their selves!if they are strong muslims, they'll avoid to fall in sins, isn't? It's too simple to be a good religious men when you don't have some temptations near you ..anyway,I don't people wearing-non wearing and showing every single part of their body too.at least i'm italian...i think we can wear as we want, but good behaviours have to be international and over the society and religious rules!![]() |

Hi..kuzukuzu..I wear Hijaab, but it's not because I want to feel safe..or I'm not strong..it's because I believe in my religion and it's a sin if women don't cover. I read in another post by you..that people have a right to choose how they should live their lives..and I'm choosing to live according to my religion and no one forced me to wear Hijaab..so saying that Muslim women shouldn't wear Hijaab is like telling them how they should live their lives. I know what you mean and respect your opinion but I just wanted to tell you that Muslim women wear Hijaab because they believe in their religion.

you're right..there are women who are forced to wear Hijaab in some parts of this world..and if a woman is not convinced in wearing Hijaab..she shouldn't..what's the point in wearing Hijaab if she's not convinced? But wearing Hijaab is in Islam..it's not because we are forced to do that. That's what I wanted others to know, because many think women in islam have no rights, and are forced to do things they don't believe in..it's the people who force them not Islam.unfortunately..many Muslims and Arabs mix Islam with traditions..so people who aren't educated follow traditions thinking it's part of their religion..and by saying this..I'm talking about traditions that are against humans' rights. |

I think that wearing the veil is just a rule of Islam, as not eating meat on Fridays is a rule of the Catholic religion. We aren't entitled to tell what is wrong and what is right, until these rules don't undermine people's freedom. And who can tell that Muslim women aren't free? In MY opinion, even the Christians are not free, as they have to stay within the bounds of the rules that their religion imposes them. It's a choice : if you choose to be religious, you have to respect its rules. Of course, I'm speaking about non-extremist kinds of religion (and EVERY SINGLE RELIGION has its extremists).
We don't have to judge other religions' rules or laws, because even if something sounds restrictive to us, it surely doesn't to people who believe in that religion. Wearing the veil is a rule for Muslim women, and I think they have to respect it. And I don't find that rule more restrictive than others.

I think you miserunderstood me
i didn't mean that you, muslim women, are forced to wear the Hijaab!of course,it's ur own choice and if for somebody it's not a choice it's their problem cuz this means that they're only using religion to cover their eyes and not bodies.I was talking for those women that say"I wear Hijab cuz i feel safer in this way" >>it's not a way to feel safe from men-animals!!<<(i saw that video of women wearin' Hijaab sayin' these things!) and i heard Muslim men sayin' that women have to cover their bodies cuz they are a temptation for men...don't you think that if men have such "temptations" and they can resist them, would God be proud of this?! Otherwise,if a woman is not wearing Hijaab they will not feel guilty to do somethin' to her! I'm speakin' cuz i heard some muslim speaking like this and that's why i said "women go to the gym and kick them"! I respect every religion, believe me or i wouldn't study languages and cultures.I'm learning Arabic and sometimes i read al-Qur'an but i only said that it's a shame showin' muslim as they shouldn't be according to the Qur'an.So, I was only speakin' women to women and not christian to muslim...well,my boyfriend is muslim and i don't have such problems so i hope u'll understand take care!! |
