post sound files

We recently had multiple demands about sound files on the forums, so that poeple can listen to native speakers and know how to pronounce.

So here is how to proceed to post your own sound file!

First you must have a microphone to record yourself! (your webcam may have one)
Then you can use the Windows sound recorder (which on XP systems stands in "start - all programs - accessories - entertainement")
Record what you have to say
then save it on your hard drive and give it a decent name!! so that everybody knows what's in it as many people may not understand your own laguage!
once on your hard drive just post a new message in the forums and before clicking on "submit new post/thread" click on "manage attachements"
then select the file you've just recorded
Validate
and post the message!

here it goes, see that's easy! and so cool

I think i need a gift, i just bought a new pc and i don't have a microphone yet!

I just precise, prefered file format is .MP3 (mpeg), and you can listen to mp3s, with Winamp if you use Windows.

well .... i like the idea , but i find that it has to be more specific , like maybe you can post a text in one language , in English for example , then after that the others will say it in thier language !!!! what do you think ????

You are both right Nani and Lili!

I have posted the first sound file in the brand new forum dedicated to it according to Nani's idea. It's in french for right now but an enlish native should get it soon into english! and thereafter into every languages

Looking forward to listening to you soon

That was very good FD , and thank you ..
I will translate it into Arabic and try to post it as a sound file , hmmm , unless someone else want to do that , he/she would be of a great help
