"new posts" problem

Today: 2 hours before time of this post - difficulty logging on this site.

I start to read one or 2 posts: got kicked out. "cannot find server"

I was able to get back in about 1 hour later.

The problem with "new posts": I had been on line for a few minutes earlier, so now I see only 5 new posts.

Is there a possiblity to change the "new posts": not from "last visit", but maybe "last 24 hours"?

That would not been a problem in a "normal" session: you know what posts you have already seen, and you just stop there.
That would be a great help for those sessions cut short for whatever reason.

Hi Femuse, I looked for a setting concerning that, and did not find anything for now, and I 'll check it again tommorrow.

I made the time twice bigger. So before all will be marked as read, you will have 30 min time.
