reputation level system

Hi all

Bernhard and I have recently been trying to set up the reputation level system, which, as you can see, is appearing as statements in the information part aside each member's post.
statements look like "xxx is on a distinguished road" and so on.

you can act on people reputation level by clicking on the green square standing next to his/her statement of each of the member's message.

are also taken into account in the reputation level computation:
- days since subscription
- number of posts
- thanks received

if you have any question do not hesitate

Thanks for the explanation The_FD, I noticed also that the reputation notice changed for many.

Now I wonder, what are the existing levels?

- XX on a distinguished road;
- XX is an unknown character at this point ;
- XX came out of the blue (what does that mean anyways?);
And?

First time I saw that, it was when I unwittingly clicked on a link to FD's board while reading my MPs. I saw that FD was "on a distinguished road" and just next to it a pic (his portrait) showing him opening bottles of vine

. Thought both were linked

Anyways I found out the equations used for the reputation level system :

Thanks Marie, I honestly didn't get that.

In my profile, it says I am from "somewhere" not "nowhere"
