Just because once I ve read Pluipocco advising to speak english only to chinese members, I would like to share my point of view concerning that.

-I write in english, because finally its easier and faster for me than everything else etc.

-But their should be possibilities to read discussions in every possible language, some people here want to read foreign discussions, try to discuss there then even if they dont manage to speak that language so perefectly, so they can improve or learn that Language. So, I think if people speak chinese for example, thats not a problem, they will be able to write in english somewhere else on the forum.

Thats a point of view, of course I am waiting for yours

Here in China, we are taught English usually, if we don't choose another language in a college/university, our best choice is to learn English, and English is the most used in China as a foreign language. The second, third or fourth are respectively: German, Russian, French, Japanese, Korean, Spanish.... and Spanish/Portuguese is used more and more since China's effort in exploring Latin America from the President Hu's Era.

Well, most Chinese who enter this forum must know English, so we talk in English, and of course between ourselves, that's Chinese enough, but your forum seems not support simplex and complex Chinese at the same time.

I agree that mostly here we should discuss in English, that does not exclude the possibilities of speaking other languages here, for example French the second most, Spanish, Italian and others, which should be specific sub-forums, and public forums should be in English, simply because it's an international language now.
