editing some rules for the forum

Hello everybody

The forum is getting bigger ang bigger everyday, some of us, users and moderators think that it is time to write down some rules about how to use the forum, what should be done and what should not be.

Any idea is welcome to argue about

Forum rozrasta się z każdym dniem. Według niektórych, tak użytkowników jak i moderatorów, nadszedł czas, aby ustanowić kilka zasad ułatwiających sprawne funkcjonowanie forum.

Każdy konstruktywny pomysł jest mile widziany.

une règle que je trouverai importante... utiliser des titres clairs et descriptifs pas de
"à l'aide" , "vite" , "urgent" , "pliz".

Le titre doit donner envie de lire le sujet.

A rule, i think that would be important.... use clear and descriptive titles, not "help me" or "please, fast" ......

Here are just some basics rules that run on every forum:
- avoid multiposts
- Do not use any bad words or do not translate those which have been posted by ignorance of the language.

Here is the big problem (the one that made me come out with this rule editing thread) what to do with commercial texts.

I think everybody agrees on the fact that big commercial texts have to be on the forum made for it, and that people should pay to get the translation done.

But what to do for small commercials? Shall we set a message size under which translation could be done for free, and above which translation has to be paid.

Or shall we avoid translating of commerials texts at any time, for any size??

I think I would be for the last solution, since we have to protect the job of translators.

I mean if that are 10 words, many translation agencies dont want to do it anyway.... and perhaps it is better to let everyone the choice to translate it or not.... and to them who ask the choice to ask it to be done for free.....

ok,
but now think about a translator A. that translate a text for free, the translator B. could get mad because he could have done the same job for some money.
So I think we need a rule to avoid any "fight" between people in some case like this one. If we let people choose wether they want to translate for free or not, we should get prepared to have some severe diagreements on the forum. Which is sad for such a nice place!

Then we should set a limited size for commercial text. And the limit should be the one under which translation agencies won't translate anyway.

Je trouve ca tres sympa de traduire gratuitement, ca prouve que tout ne tourne pas autour de l'argent dans ce monde!
Toutefois, je ne reclame pas de "merci", mais juste au moins un ptit mot, ne serait-ce que "bien reçu", pour savoir si le demandeur a pris ma traduction. Car j'ai fait 2 trad en turc et je n'ai recu aucune reponse, ce qui fait que je ne sais pas s'ils ont pris ma trad et se sont envolés ou s'ils ne sont plus jamais revenus sur le site! Parce que s'embeter a faire une trad que personne ne lira ou n'utilisera, non merci!

Dc ma propososition est que le demandeur de trad ( je ne parle pas d'un ou deux mots mais de textes) confirme reception. Histoire que l'on sache si notre travail est utilisé, et utile!
