Well it was hard for me, too.
When I was 17 I finished High School in Italy and I moved in Oxford in order to study there. I chose Chemistry. I was good (I didn't expect to be that good, cause English was not my mother tongue) but I didn't like Oxford and I didn't like the people I had to live with, so I changed and I came in Preston, at the UCLAN. Now I study Forensic Science and Criminology and I'm very satisfied, even if I wasted time going at Oxford. I have a lot of wonderful friends and I don't miss Oxford. So, if I can give you a piece of advice, don't be afraid : just do what you feel you really want to do, even if you think it's too difficult, or too expensive, or whatever, because if you do something you really love, when you'll finish you'll realize than every minute you spent studying was worth it and every pound you spent was worth it. I still have to pay 6000 pounds to the school... But now I realize that it was worth it

Of course it's not really like in the movies. There's a lot of sceince too. For example, genetics is really important in Criminology. And sometimes you have to learn a lot statistics about crimes and MOs (Modus Operandi). And there's a big part concerning criminal justice, human rights, policing... I study Forensic Science too and it has to do a lot with science and chemistry... If you want more information, let me know and I'll tell you... ![]()
