I don't agree with those who simply say "give up your religion and follow your love", that's plain irrationnal. The question you have to ask yourself is "what matters most?". Set up your priorities, and then you'll see it plain clear in front of you.

It's not just about him saying shahada, it's way more beyond that. It's all a mentality and style of life. Trying to make him convert is not an option, as long as he is not the one who chooses to, being convinced to adopt a religion.
It's not easy to let go of your feelings, I know it's not. You will get strenght from what made you give it away, and you'll know one day that you made the right choice.

i did discuss it with him a lot and it was almost the cause of our faith smtimes ,smtimes it seems to me that he's convenced especially when he asks me to tell him more about this subject he was very curious and he even believe in our propeht.but now we stopped calling each other to let time cover this

It's your own choice, depends on what your priorities are and the priorities of your environment. If you think your religion is more important than the love for him, or contrary, you should doubt a happy future.

for me religion first but for my heart love first it,s a paradox that im living here i can't seperate this it,s a question of habit i think more than love im customed to hear his stories before sleeping it's terrible
