Do guys still bring girls flowers?

I was just wondering, do girls still like when guys bring them flowers on the first date? Or it that something they would laugh at?

hmmm everything depends on how you got the date

... but I would rather not doing it on a first date, there are so many other occasions.. and even sometimes no reason is an excellent reason to bring some flowers up

I'll ask the opposite question. Do boys like sending girls flowers, esp if they are very expensive as in where I live?

I personally am all for guys bringing girls flowers. I love flowers and if a guy were to bring me flowers on a first date he'd totally melt my heart. However, on a first date, keep it small. A pink rose or some carnations or something. A dozen roses or a big bouquet would be a little much.
