¡°The technique of efficient & rapid non-tube plant clone¡±(TERNPC) was first invented by the professor Li Changxiao, who is praised as "the great master of green-coping" by the media at home and abroad. It is a proprietary technique, and has been used successfully in the rapid propagation of more than 550 kinds of economic plants, showing popular significance to the vegetative propagation of most economic plants.
We can affirm the stability and reliability of this technology through the spread practice within 18 years and more than 30 affiliated companies and cooperative bases in practice. 1.Use one leaf or one bud as the unit material of propagation, inoculate it directly on the sand bed of the field or in the nutrition bag, it will grow into a nursery-grown plant, ready for production without any movement. High is the survival rate.
2.As for most plants, an entire regenerated plant with developed roots will be got within 4-11 days. The survival rate is high. Usually one has 3-6 roots, and even 30-40 roots. After the second generation, the regenerated rate will be 80-95% or more. The root-striking needs a short time and the speed of propagation is fast. After sprouting the plant will grow to be an entire one. And after 15-50 days' training, it can be moved out of the garden for transplanting. Rapid propagation is factually realized.
3.After the second generation, most kinds of plant will produce the next generation within 20-60 days. The coefficient of propagation of each generation is as much as 2-15 times. (This has the same merit as that of tube tissue culture), and so on.

I believe cloning, as well as genetical engineering, is the root of all evils. Cloned animals have proved to have defects. Cloned plants are eaten by animals and humans, human beings in the future are likely to have more genetical defects. Even the first generation of cloned animals don't have defects, their second or future generations are proved to have defects. I suspect the increasing no. of food allergies today are caused by genetically engineered food. History has taught us what is not natural has problems.

That's true animal cloning still has to be improved on many aspects (technically and ethically). But let research prove what it can bring to humanity, let them time to improve their knowledge. There are some huge therapeutic benefits to come.. though that's true History showed us that scientific knowledge is often used as a weapon that kills humans.

Let me remember you that GMO or cloned plants let farmer cultivate without using any fertilizer or insecticide for example... what may decrease by far the number of allergies and pollution!

I have great respect for all these scientists who can - how shall I put it - beat nature with all these techniques, and I'm sure it can bring lots of solutions for uncurable diseases. And that is a good thing.

But, on the other hand I'm a bit sceptical about all this.
History has shown that once an uncurable desease has found its cure, nature comes with other uncurable deseases...

That's true... and that's why we have to be as fast and accurate as possible, not to be late and let desease be always more numerous. Think of where people live the longest on earth, and you'll evidently see that science can improve health
